Catch limits and regulations

Please note the following regulations:
- The aggregate daily limit for all species of Pacific salmon (other than kokanee) from tidal and non-tidal waters combined is four (4).
- All retained coho must measure 25 cm or more from tip of nose to tail fork, and all retained chinook, chum, pink and sockeye must measure 30 cm or more from tip of nose to tail fork.
- A single barbless hook is in effect year round for all streams in Region 2.
- There is an annual limit of 10 adult chinook.
Chehalis River
*CLOSED May 1 - 31
*For all fish between September 1 - December 31, NO angling for salmon can take place from 1 hr after sunset until 1 hr before sunrise.
Area Open - From the logging bridge 2.4 km below Chehalis Lake to the confluence of the Harrison/Chehalis Rivers, including tributaries to that part.

Coho
July 1 - March 31......4 coho per day. Marked hatchery fish only.
Chinook
June 1 - August 10.....4 chinook per day (only 1 over 50cm).
Sept.16 - December 31....4 chinook per day (only 1 over 62cm).
Chum
November 1 - November 31......2 chum per day (all 30cm or over).
Steelhead
Year-round except from May 1-31......1 steelhead per day. Marked hatchery fish only.
Harrison River
*For all fish between July 1 - December 31, NO angling for salmon can take place from 1 hr after sunset until 1 hr before sunrise.
Area Open - From the outlet of Harrison Lake to Highway 7 bridge.

Coho
September 1 - March 31......2 coho per day (all over 25cm). Marked hatchery fish only.
Chum
January 1 - December 31......2 chum per day (all over 30cm).
Area Open - From the Highway 7 bridge to the confluence with the Fraser River.

September 1 - March 31......4 coho per day. Marked hatchery fish only.
Chinook
September 1 - December 31......4 chinook per day (1 may be greater than 50cm).
Chum
January 1 - December 31......2 chum per day (over 30cm).
Pink
Opportunities expected......4 per day, further details to be announced.
Sockeye
Opportunities expected in August......2 per day, further details to be announced.
